After a week of heavy rain and thunderstorms led to talk of relocation or postponement, it's just good to be racing on 10,000 day at Doomben tomorrow.
The $650,000 feature event looked an open race before the track was severely rain-affected - now it looks impossible! Defending champion Apache Cat has been favourite since bookmakers put their markets up several weeks ago and is one galloper proven in heavy going. But the Cat has had his colours lowered too often of late and we expect plenty of punters to bet around him on the likes of Danleigh and Black Piranha.

Tomorrow's charity bet
