Brisbane has been a happy hunting ground for the ever-popular Apache Cat who will attempt to win back-to-back BTC Cups at Doomben tomorrow.
Much has been said and written about the champ "needing a run" before producing his best, as he has done in his last 2 campaigns. Last start was no exception when he received a galloping lesson from subsequent Goodwood winner Takeover Target after a 9-week let-up.
Fitness is on his side tomorrow so there'll be no excuses - only relieved bookies - if he's beaten:
